When we thought about gathering our loved ones and favorite people from all corners of the world to join us for our special day one thing was very clear – we wanted to make sure that we actually get to spend time and share laughs with all of you! After thinking this through we decided a three day weekend of fun was the answer – with our wedding nestled in the middle of all the fun. February is peak whale season here on Maui and for anyone who knows us well you know we are quite enthusiastic about getting as much time as we can with these amazing creatures each year. Whale watching can be done right from the shores of Olowalu, and from Kayaks which are available right at Olowalu.

We are very hopeful that all of you who want to come and join in our celebration of love and a joined life will consider spending Friday evening through Monday morning camping out with us at this fabulous destination, or at least as much of it as your lives will allow. We are working towards having live music every evening, restorative yoga/pilates in the mornings, as well as an optional whale watch on a tour boat for Sunday afternoon. We will update you about events and happenings as our wedding gets closer.

Camp Olowalu is an oceanfront camp on a very calm bay about 15 minutes from Lahaina on the west side of Maui, and about 30 minutes from Kahului Airport (OGG). It is one of the better snorkeling areas on the island and is great for seeing fish and turtles. It is our preferred launch spot for kayaking and whale watching, has a nice little sand beach, and is just a wonderful and fun space to enjoy. Please check out our accommodations page (linked above) and their website (https://campolowalu.com/) to see more pictures and get more information.
