My “Be Kind” bumper sticker was inspired by the video linked below. It shows a humpback whale saving a seal from two orcas. Humpback whales have been known to save other species from common predators. The first time I saw this video, I thought “why?” Then I thought, “why not?”… and “because it can.” Some of our earthly kins’ behaviors like that of the humpback will always be somewhat of a mystery to me, but I know they are deep. So, this serves to us all a reminder to Be Kind—to our fellow humans—and to those who can not ask for our help with words.
